Established in 2002, the College of Humanities and Communication has a hard-working and energetic faculty with first-class teaching level and high academic researching ability. Currently there are 77 staff member with 8 professors, 20 associate professors, among whom 9 hold Ph.D. and 8 are PhD candidates. The college has undertaken four research national social and scientific projects and ten ministerial-level research projects, three national higher education research projects and 28 provincial research projects.
       The College offers six specialties, such as Chinese language and literature, advertisement scheme operation and management, advertisement design, social work, news, editing and publication.
