The Department of Mathematics and Computer Science offers information and computer science specialty, which has four orientations: information science and decision making, computer science and software engineering, information analysis and finance engineering, management and optimization. The 38 faculty is comprised of 3 professors, 7 associate professors, 7 doctors and 27 masters. < br>       The department focuses on the central task of education, takes department construction as key aspects, persists in the principle of “education as foundation, research as development” and attaches great importance to science research; the department is full of academic atmosphere. The department also pays great attention to education research and reform, to cultivate the students’ intelligence and innovation, therefore, the students have won several First, Second and Third Awards in China Undergraduate Mathematical Modeling Contest(CUMCM) and American Undergraduate Mathematical Contest.
       The department has qualified teachers, solid research foundation, advanced education environment and good academic atmosphere; it is an ideal place for students.
